Coeur D’ Alene Residence

Description: Nestled among towering pines and perched above the still waters of Lake Coeur d’Alene, this HDG-designed residence is a true reflection of Inland Northwest living. Designed as a year-round retreat, the home embraces the rugged beauty of its surroundings while offering a refined, modern sensibility. Located within the exclusive Gozzer community, known for its Tom Fazio-designed golf course, expansive shoreline, and the seamless blend of lake life and mountain escape, this project is about connection: to nature, to place, and to the moments that matter. We intentionally blurred the boundaries between interior and exterior, using raw materials, warm light, and framed views to root the home in its setting. Every element from the filtered sunlight through the pines to the quiet rhythm of the lake below was chosen to honor and amplify the landscape.
