Scope of Work: Planning, Architecture, Interior design, Rendering & Material Procurement through HDG Interiors Program.

Description: Perched into the hillside of this high desert landscape, High Desert House integrates itself into the surrounding topography while capitalizing on sweeping views of Kennewick Washington abundant farmland. Designed as cast-in-place concrete, the shell and its interiors are softened by the concretes board-formed texture. Privacy comes in the form of choreographed placement of windows and site lines. Windows face north and are shielded by the surrounding topography giving this home ultimate privacy without the need for window coverings. A cantilevered patio further elevates the experience of being perched high up on the high desert as well as extending your views.
